Dieser Workshop bietet eine einmalige Gelegenheit, intensiv bei gleich 3 Lehrer*innen vom Kokusai Shakuhachi Kenshukan zu studieren: Hauptlehrer Riley Lee, unterstützt durch die deutschen KSK-Lehrer Alexandra Kraus und Markus Guhe.
Dieses Jahr hat der Workshop das Thema „Natur“. Im Gruppenunterricht werden traditionelle sowie moderne Stücke bearbeitet, unter anderem:
- Koku (Versionen für Anfänger Fortgeschrittene)
- Shingetsu
- Takiochi no Kyoku
Zusätzliche Stücke, auch für Anfänger*innen, werden ebenfalls unterrichtet. Der Workshop ist also sowohl für fortgeschrittene Spieler*innen als auch Anfänger*innen geeignet. Der Unterricht findet auf Englisch und Deutsch statt.
Noten sowie Aufnahmen der Stücke werden im Voraus zur Verfügung gestellt.
Teilnehmer*innen müssen eine Shakuhachi der Standardlänge von 1,8 Shaku (Grundton D) mitbringen.
Den Auftakt der Veranstaltung bildet ein öffentliches Konzert der Dozenten am 19. Juni 2026 um 19.30 Uhr mit dem Titel „Sound of Nature“ in der Kirche (direkt neben dem Gemeindezentrum). Der Eintritt zum Konzert ist kostenlos.
Vor dem Konzert besteht am Nachmittag des 19. Juni die Möglichkeit, Einzelstunden mit einem der Lehrer zu buchen. Bitte lassen Sie uns wissen, wenn Sie eine Einzelstunde wünschen.
Der Workshop findet statt am:
- 20. Juni, 9-18 Uhr
- 21. Juni, 9-12.30 Uhr
Den Abschluss bildet ein Konzert der Teilnehmer*innen in der Kirche.

Die Gebühr (€120/€100) ist unmittelbar vor Beginn des Workshops (ab 8.30 Uhr am 20. Juni) bar zu bezahlen.
Auch wenn keine Anzahlung bei der schriftlichen Anmeldung fällig wird, wird darum gebeten, die Anmeldung als verbindlich zu betrachten.
Die Gebühr deckt nur die Teilnahme am Workshop ab. Verpflegung und Unterkunft erfolgen auf eigene Kosten und müssen selbst organisiert werden. Es gibt aber reichlich Cafés, Pensionen usw. in der Gegend.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to study intensively with 3 teachers from the Kokusai Shakuhachi Kenshukan: Head teacher Riley Lee, supported by the German KSK teachers Alexandra Kraus and Markus Guhe.
This year’s workshop theme is ‘Nature’. Traditional and modern pieces are taught in the group lessons, including:
- Koku (versions for beginning advanced players)
- Shingetsu
- Takiochi no Kyoku
Additional pieces, including ones suitable for beginners, will also be taught. So, the workshop is suitable for advanced players and beginners alike. Classes are held in English and German.
Sheet music and recordings of the pieces are provided in advance.
Participants must bring a shakuhachi of standard length (1.8 shaku, basic pitch D).
The event will be kicked off with a public concert by the teachers on 19 June 2026 at 7.30pm with the title ‘Sound of Nature’ in the church (next door to the community centre). Admission to the concert is free.
Before the concert in the afternoon of 19 June the possibility to book private lessons with one of the teachers. Please let us know if you would like a private lesson.
The workshop will take place on
- 20 June, 9am to 6pm
- 21 June, 9am to 12.30pm
At the conclusion of the workshop is a concert by the participants in the church.

The fee (€120/€100) is due at the start of the workshop (from 8.30am on 20 June) to be paid in cash. Even if no deposit is due at the time of registration, please consider the registration as binding.
The fee only covers participation in the workshop. Meals and accommodation are at your own expense and must be organised by yourself. There are plenty of cafes, guesthouses, etc in the neighbourhood.
